ACHC Surveyors are vaccinated against COVID-19.

As professionals working in health care, we have a shared responsibility to promote public health through proactive response to the extended public health emergency. Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is joining other leading healthcare organizations* in this response by mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for our surveyors effective August 8, 2021.

The organizations we accredit and certify rely on ACHC to help them improve quality and safety. ACHC is your trusted partner in risk management. Vaccination is a validated mitigation strategy. Sending anyone into your organization who has not been vaccinated and taken every precaution to protect themselves, your staff, and your patients seems irresponsible to us.
