Subsequent to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) changes announced in the Federal Register on June 5, 2023, Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) has retired Standard 07.03.04 Employee health: COVID-19 Vaccination of Hospital Staff. Effective June 5, 2023, acute care hospitals will not be surveyed against this requirement.
ACHC announced this change in an email sent July 11, 2023. To access the updated Accreditation Requirements for Acute Care Hospitals, 2023 Edition, contact your dedicated Account Advisor.
