Highlights Common Deficiencies 

The latest issue of The Surveyor evaluates the most frequently cited deficiencies for most Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) programs, including the Critical Access Hospital program.

This publication replaces the December Critical Access Hospital Did You Know? newsletter, which will return in the new year.

The Surveyor, Quality Review Edition (Volume 2022, No. 2), is presented as 10 separate editions, each providing a review of deficiencies cited within an individual accreditation program or group of closely related programs.

Your organization can use the annual Critical Access Hospital edition to gain insight into how your industry peers — in aggregate — performed on surveys. This gives you a valuable opportunity to place your most recent survey results in context, read multiple examples of Surveyor citations, and gain tips for meeting individual standards.
